Temple Mother Oseaana is the owner of Pumpkin Cottage Conjure, a place for conjure services and supplies and TheMoonlitSea.net, which specializes in unique hand-crafted items for the spiritual, mundane and other worlds. She also offers spiritual consultations, readings and spellwork via TheTownWitch.com.

As founder and Temple Mother of the Scarlet & Amethyst Temple and Tradition, Mother Oseaana is guided by her Mother Goddess Yemaya and her Ancestral Spirit Mama Da to facilitate rituals, ceremonies and services for the empowerment of women.

It was through Oseaana's Spirit Guides that the notion to create a tradition and temple first was formed. After many years of having the great fortune of learning from wonderful and amazing Goddess women and teachers, it was Mama Da, through deep sacred communication, that finally pushed Oseaana to take all of the information that has been shared with her throughout the years and create a way for other women to learn the same in a safe and sacred place. The Scarlet & Amethyst Temple and Tradition was born!

Oseaana's main goal for the Temple is to create a space for all women seeking the mysteries of Goddess, in whichever form Goddess chooses to show herself to her daughters. Mother Oseaana is not concerned with the number of Sisters and Priestesses in the Temple, but is more concerned with the quality of Sisters and Priestesses in the Temple and the quality of Sisterhood created here.

As Temple Mother, Oseaana is called to guide and encourage Sisters along their individual path to Sacred Awareness. Our Priestess Journeying Program is structured so that the wisdom that Mother Oseaana learned during her many years is shared but that there is also room for the individual woman to explore and create her own path.

Mother Oseaana is not higher than any Sister in the Temple. She is the woman who gave birth to our Temple and nurtures it. In Scarlet & Amethyst we are all Sisters in service to the Ancestors and Spirits, Goddess, ourselves and each other.

Local Temple Priestess Journeying Programs

The Scarlet & Amethyst Temple Priestesses are a wild, loving, fun, diverse and deeply devoted group of women from all backgrounds. We have come together to celebrate and honor Goddess, the Ancestors and ourselves. We live each day as Goddess women and are mindful of our place in the world.

Please familiarize yourself with the descriptions of the Temple
and Tradition while making your decision to travel this path.

Women who seek to join our Temple Priestess Journeying Program are asked to join us for rituals and ceremonies in the Spirit Sisters tribe. This path of a Priestess is not for every woman...it is a calling...a vocation. We are a small Temple that honors quality over quantity. We ask that only women who are willing to dedicate time and energy join our Sisterhood.

The Priestess Journeying Program is for women who are experienced in magick and Goddess spirituality and for those that are new to magick and Goddess spirituality. Each woman's Journeying experience will be different and guided by our Temple Mother specifically for the individual.

The Priestess Journeying Program is at least a one lunar year commitment and can be a four lunar year commitment depending on the level of dedication of each woman.

Before taking that first step onto the path of this Journey, women must be a member of Spirit Sisters and undergo the Novitiate Ceremony. The Novitiate Ceremony can be done at any time to prepare you to begin the Priestess Journeying program.

Partaking in the Novitiate Ceremony opens women to the deeper mysteries and energies of the Temple to begin work with the Temple Spirits and Priestesses. Temple Novices are required to attend monthly Temple rituals/ceremonies and help with the various activities of the Temple.

The time one spends as a Novice is different for each woman. The Novice period is a time for women to learn more about the Temple and our practices. Spirit Sisters interested in delving deeper into the mysteries of the Temple should contact Mother Oseaana for more information.

About the Priestess Journeying Program

(Note: Yes, this is a lot of information, and there will be more information after making a formal inquiry. However, if you are truly interested in this path then taking the time to read and re-read this will be the easiest part of the Journey.)

Our Priestess Journeying Program is divided into 4 Lunar Years. Each Lunar Year is approximately 13 months with the first Lunar Year being spent exploring the Energies and Spirits of the Four Sacred Gateways (East/Air, South/Fire, West/Water, North/Earth). The women with whom you make this journey are considered your Altar Sisters.

Lunar Year 1 The first Lunar Year is when a Novice becomes a Dedicant of the Temple and dedicates to the Four Sacred Gateways. The Novice also commits to learning the basics of our spiritual and magickal traditions, Ancestor Veneration and connects with many different Goddesses and Spirits of her choice. After successfully completing Lunar Year 1, the Novice is initiated into the Temple as Novatrix and has the option to serve in the Temple as Novatrix or serve as Novatrix while continuing her journey into Lunar Year 2.

Lunar Year 2 is when the Temple Novatrix dedicates to the Temple Spirits and dives deeper into her magickal and spiritual studies of the Four Sacred Gateways. She also helps guide Novices and Dedicants as well as assists with Temple rituals and ceremonies. During this Lunar Year the Temple Novatrix is called to her personal Mother Goddess. After successfully completing Lunar Year 2, the Temple Novatrix is initiated as Temple Priestess and has the option serve in the Temple as Priestess or serve as Temple Priestess while continuing her journey into Lunar Year 3.

Lunar Year 3 is when the Temple Priestess takes her vows and dedicates to her personal Mother Goddess and continues her indepth study of advanced witchcraft as well as deepening her spiritual path and connection with the Temple Energies. She is given more responsibilities and duties in the Temple. After successfully completing Lunar Year 3, the Temple Priestess has the option to undergo Sacred Rites to become a Temple Elder.

Lunar Year 4 is the option for few women who want to dedicate themselves further. The sacred study during this year prepares the Temple Elder to become a Mother Priestess and/or a Temple Mother where she is able to create her own Temple in the Scarlet & Amethyst Tradition.

The decision to enter into the Sisterhood of the Scarlet & Amethyst Temple and Tradition is not to be made lightly. This requires a high level of self-dedication, reflection, sacrifice, energy and hard work. The reward is great, however the journey is not easy.

Each level/Lunar Year is marked by ceremony and a piece of Temple sacred jewelry specially attuned to your personal journey and Spirit Guides. Each Lunar Year requires a higher amount of self-dedication and self-sacrifice. There will be a number of Sacred Alignments that will require deep focus and dedication. During this time women are asked to keep this sacred journey a top priority as there are weekly Temple meetings, ceremonies, rituals and events that are required.

Women can expect to devote much time to their own spiritual development through daily devotions and prayers, research and study as well as time devoted to tending the energies of the Temple. The effects of entering the Sisterhood will trickle out into your personal life because serving Goddess and doing her work in this Temple encompasses all aspects of your being.

Joining the Sisterhood will challenge you to open yourself to higher vibrations and to live your life in service to Goddess and your sisters in all ways. To do this, one must surround herself with the Sacred every day. In this Temple the Sacred is experienced not only by intense study and ritual but also by donning the colors of the Sacred Gateways during that exploration or taking the veil during ceremony and rites or wearing white for periods of sacred time or by wearing temporary tribal/ceremonial marks on the skin, for example.

Women interested in making this Journey will have had to participate in Spirit Sisters Learning Circle and undergo the Novitiate Ceremony before being considered for the Temple Priestess Journeying Program.

The Temple Priestess program is currently open on an ongoing bases
so women can dedicate at anytime.

There is a monetary fee for the Temple Priestess Journeying Program in exchange for ritual/ceremony supplies as well as the time and energy of the Priestesses. Women are responsible for any books required and supplies she may need for personal use and/or to enhance her journey.

Temple Priestess Journeying Program Fees: (for local women or women who are willing to travel) Novitiate Ceremony: $77 Journeying programs have a sliding scale. No woman is turned away for lack of funds. Temple Priestesses may offer workshops, hands-on learning days and classes that are open to Temple Sisters as well as the public. These are considered extracurricular and while they are not required, Sisters are encouraged to take advantage of them to enhance their Journey. Any costs associated with these extra gatherings are the responsibility of the Sister and not included in the program fee, however there is always a Temple discount for women dedicated to the path.

For women who are not in the local area but still want to learn magick and Goddess spirituality, Temple Mother Oseaana is now offering online Magickal Mentorships, Spiritual Journeying and Priestess Journeying.

These programs are for women who want to make a short or long-term commitment to learning, exploring and deepening their personal magickal and spiritual paths.

The Spiritual and Priestess Journeying Programs are great options for women who are looking to start their own spiritual tradition/path or just reconnect and deepen their connection to their Mother Goddess.

The Magickal Mentorship is a wonderful opportunity to work personally with Oseaana and learn more about magick, conjure, witchcraft, ceremonies, and divination to gain more spellcraft wisdom.

The Magickal Mentorships, Spiritual Journeying and Priestess Journeying Programs all offer one-on-one meetings with Temple Mother Oseaana. If there are other women journeying at the same time, online group meetings will be scheduled. Journeying together with other women only enhances your personal spiritual study and practice.

Each Magickal Mentorship, Spiritual Journeying and Priestess Journeying program experience is crafted for the individual woman by Oseaana to help guide the woman in the right direction for her personal spiritual and magickal path.

The Spiritual Journeying can be 6 weeks or 6 months.

The length of the Priestess Journeying program is 13 months or longer.

The program and length depends on what the individual
woman is seeking to learn and experience.

The program you choose depends on your level of dedication, time and energy.

Six week Spiritual Journeying Program with weekly online meetings: The first week is an introduction and preparation for spending the next four weeks dedicating to the Four Sacred Gateways (East/Air, South/Fire, West/Water, North/Earth) one Gateway each week. The sixth week is a following-up and closing the down the energy. The cost for the six week program includes a piece of sacred jewelry which I will create for you.

Six month Spiritual Journeying Program with meeting online three times each month: The structure is basically the same as above, except you spend a month dedicated to the Four Sacred Gateways. This approach offers a bit more intensive study since you explore each element/direction for a month. The cost for the six month program includes a piece of sacred jewelry which I will create for you.

Thirteen month Priestess Journeying Program

Magickal Mentorships are 3 months, 5 months or 9 months long.

Magickal Mentorships involve learning witchcraft/spellcraft and conjure in one-on-one sessions with Temple Mother Oseaana. Together we will explore how to create spells for various situations (love, money, healing, protection, cleansing, etc.). Magickal skills that you will learn include candle magick, divination, mojo bags, working with poppets, contained spells such as honey jars, working altars and Spirits. The length of your Mentorship determines how deep and involved your exploration and study will be.

includes two phone or in-person one-on-one sessions with Oseaana each month of the mentorship. It also includes access to Oseaana via email, chat, etc. as you need to answer questions and/or get guidance.

Some women travel to Oseaana's home in New York for special training, rituals and ceremonies. Details about exactly how training is done and specifics about online meetings can be directed to Temple Mother Oseaana.
