In the Spring of 2009 Temple Mother Oseaana took the first official Dedicants into the Scarlet & Amethyst Temple and Tradition.

The Scarlet & Amethyst Temple is not a physical location. In fact it is a wondrous vast space in the hearts, minds and souls of the Temple Priestesses. The Temple is an ever evolving space that exists whereever the Temple Priestesses are.

The Mother Goddess of the Temple is Yemaya and the Ancestral Spirit of the Temple is Mama Da. It is through these Spirits that Oseaana was guided to create both the Temple and Tradition.

The Temple is a sacred space of abundance, power, magick, safety and healing for women in the community. Our Temple Priestesses
and Sisters offer rituals and ceremonies. Our rituals are women-only and offer women a safe and empowered environment to honor themselves and Goddess.

The Scarlet & Amethyst Sisterhood also offers spiritual ceremonies and services available to both women and men in the community.

In the Temple, there is no Sister higher than the other. Our structure allows all Sisters to lead and facilitate if they choose.

The path to Temple Mother begins as a Novice in the Spirit Sisters tribe. Women who have are called to Priestessing can then move on to the Temple Priestess Journeying Program and become a Dedicant/Sister of the Temple, the next step is Temple Novatrix, after that Temple Priestess, and then Temple Elder Priestess and finally on to Mother Priestess and/or Temple Mother.

The Temple is tended to each day by the Sisters and Priestesses to keep the energy and flow of the Temple going.

Our Temple may work differently then other temples, covens or circles you may have worked with in the past. We work with the Spirits and Energies of the four Sacred Gateways (East/Air, South/Fire, West/Water, North/Earth) in this Temple. Our spiritual path includes the light and dark and shadows.

Women who seek to work within the Temple and serve Goddess and the community through the Temple are encouraged to ask about our Priestess Journeying Programs. The Scarlet & Amethyst Temple Priestess path requires a great amount of self-dedication, reflection, sacrifice, energy and hard work. The reward is great, however the journey is not easy.

Sisters seeking to enter our Sacred Sisterhood through the Priestess Journeying Program
need to first participate in our learning circle, Spirit Sisters.

The Priestess Journeying Programs are for any woman seeking to learn the mysteries and magick of Scarlet & Amethyst, no matter where they are on your path. Each woman stepping onto the Scarlet & Amethyst path will be at a different stage of their journey, therefore the program is created to be self-led with the guidance and one-on-one support of Temple Mother Oseaana and the Scarlet & Amethyst Priestesses and Sisters.
